Ella Gallego is a writer and researcher based in California, US. Her work has been written about in magazines such as The Mary Sue and a 3-page spread in Rue Morgue. Ella has also featured on numerous acclaimed podcasts to speak about her research and writing from the multiple award–winning podcast Come Curious, to a two-part episode feature on the podcast Sex & Psychology with award–winning educator & researcher Dr. Justin Lehmiller. Oscillating between the States and Scotland, Ella attended the University of Stirling to obtain her MLitt in Publishing Studies, where her academic research categorized the contemporary literary genre of Dark Romance as well as configured the basis for a cohesive readership ethnography.

When Ella is not obsessing over erotic monsters in media, from movies to books to comics, she’s reading, making Suminagashi marbled paper to screen print on, assembling puppets, yelling about capitalism, and wondering why the hell she doesn’t have a job. You can contact her at [email protected].
